Weight Loss Ladies Bare All For Charity
We have all probably heard of the Calendar Girls movie and how a women’s institute brought out a pin up calendar of themselves to make money for the local community. Indeed, not only did they make money in this way, the movie was made to commemorate the bravery of these women who actually posed in the nude regardless of the fact that they were of a certain age, so to speak.
Well, some wonderful ladies from Stainforth have followed in their footsteps and emulated what these brave ladies did by doing exactly the same thing and stripping off to help several charities.
In fact, the ladies started to save money for the charity by making up a weight loss class amongst themselves. All the proceeds from this support group will be used to pay for the print run for the calendar. All the ladies belong to the Tenants and Residents Association and, thanks to their concerted effort they have lost almost one hundred pounds between them.
To celebrate this loss of weight, they decided on this bold step to strive to make something good come from their efforts. All the proceeds from the sale of the calendars and from the continuing weight loss classes too, will all go to the charities that they have decided to support.
The Yorkshire Air Ambulance, the Chatsfield Suite at Doncaster Royal Infirmary and Help for Heroes, the forces charity, should all benefit from this little bit of naughtiness that will be tastefully done.
Even those people who have wonderful figures to begin with, and who are on the right side of thirty, will still find it difficult to strip off for the camera. Now check these ladies, who are a little older, who, although not in the best shape of their lives, still are willing to do something to aid those who have a need for some help.
The one comfort that they have in all this is that the photographer is a lady and will know how to pose these wonderful women so that they show only the best sides of themselves. It may be that the poses will also have some tastefully positioned accessories to hide any less than perfect lumps and bumps, but the main idea is that people should support this good cause as far as they can. One wonders if some mature gentlemen would be brave enough to do the same thing!
