Radio Sponsorship Still Good For Bingo
In the current climate, it is easy to get carried away with the excitement t of the internet age. Online advertising supposedly provides companies with the chance to target customers to a very small level which should be of great benefit in helping to win people over to the firm. This is definitely something that many firms think is right for them but it can often lead to a lot of money being wasted. Just because people are online and looking at related items doesn’t necessarily follow that they will share an interest in coming to see your site. With the price of online advertising rising all the time, it seems as though many firms are not getting good value for money. This is where companies are looking at more traditional advertising methods to ensure that they get a good return for their cash.
Foxy likes to advertise
Foxy Bingo is definitely a company that has put a lot of money into their online advertising and this has brought about some good results. However, as the online bingo industry continues to become ever more competitive, it is obvious that the firm has to work harder to stand out from its peers. Foxy Bingo has had a good deal of success in using radio advertising and promotions in recent times and this looks set to continue. This is down to the fact that Foxy Bingo have signed up for a big sponsorship campaign with GMG Radio and the campaign will run on Smooth Radio and Real Radio.
The deal will ensure that there is a 13 week sponsorship of the David Jensen Smooth Radio weekday show and the 70s at 7 slot. This promotion begins on the 11th of June. The company will also be sponsoring the Real Radio evening programmes that are hosted by David Hearne.
Foxy will also be heavily involved in the promotion and will feature on the websites of the two major radio stations.
Even though Foxy Bingo appears to be very happy with the deal, it seems as though GMG Radio are also very happy. Commercial director Jonathan Gillespie released a statement on the agreement between the two organisations; “We are delighted to welcome Foxy Bingo back onto our stations this summer. Listeners responded extremely positively to the activity last year, which broke new ground for commercial radio and enabled Foxy to engage with a wide audience in a number of ways.”
